ISTANBUL – The Set Work Principles Workshop organized by the Actors' Union was held in Beyoğlu as a comprehensive organization addressing topics related to working life in the series and film industry.

The workshop, realized with the support of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Culture Department and Beyoğlu Municipality, brought together sector stakeholders and many famous actors. The workshop comprehensively addressed working conditions on sets, ethical principles, sustainable production approach and sectoral responsibilities.

As a result of the sessions held with the active contributions of the participants, important evaluations and common outputs were presented for creating a healthier, fairer and more sustainable working environment in the sector.

Within the scope of the workshop, thank you plaques were presented by the Actors' Union to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Culture Department Head Tolga Volkan Aslan, Beyoğlu Municipality Deputy Mayor Sefer Karahmetoğlu and Bumerang Group Chairman of the Board Can Tiryaki for their contributions to the organization and process.

Actors' Union Board Member Esin Aslan drew attention to the importance of the workshop and made the following evaluation:

"The Set Work Principles Workshop was a very important step in terms of topics that have been discussed in our sector for a long time but need to be addressed on a common ground. On behalf of our union, I thank all institutions that contributed to this process, local governments that supported, and stakeholders to whom we presented thank you plaques."

Bumerang Group Chairman of the Board Can Tiryaki, who made statements after the plaque presentation, used the following expressions:

"I believe that the Set Work Principles Workshop was an extremely valuable meeting for our sector. We were pleased to be part of this work that aims to create a more sustainable and ethical work culture by coming together around common values. The Set Work Principles Workshop was evaluated as an important platform that strengthens dialogue, cooperation and common responsibility awareness among sector stakeholders.
